Why?

When I wrote the stage version of "Water Pressure" last November, I had a little internal debate over whether it should be a screenplay or a stage play.

Ultimately, I decided to go with writing it for stage, as I thought it would be a pretty unique experience for an audience. Now, a few months later, for a laugh, I approached it from the cinematic angle.

Surprising, it works this way as well. The more "talky" and philosophical elements have been pushed to the background, while the action has been amplified. That's not to say it's fluff now, as the heart of it remains the same. Characters referenced in the stage play, such as Arthur, or the four mothers, have full-blown appearances, and you get to actually see scenes just referred to off-hand in the play - such as the car crash, the drownings, and the fire.

Hopefully the fans of "Water Pressure" will consider this an interesting companion, rather than a retread. I've added quite a bit of new stuff to the plot to keep me interested.
