In 2002, I released a double album under the band name TELEGRAPH. If you want to know more about volume one and volume two, you can read those album pages.

The record sold well when it first came out and has continued to sell in the last seven years. Brazildisc approached me about reissuing as a single disc. I agreed to it if it was remastered with new artwork. I cut one song to achieve the disc length. I also decided to put out under my name since I hadn't used TELEGRAPH since 2002 and the record was just me (with a drummer) anyway.

It was originally to come out last spring, but was delayed because of the Phantom Soundtracks release of "Spikes."

I do now consider this the definitive version of the record. I'm much more satisfied with the sound of the album. It was a really troubled recording session technically and I always had things I regreted. This corrects those issues.

I still feel this is some of my strongest songwriting, particularly the pop stuff like "Nick & Lois" and "Jacket Weather," so if you want to hear me pretending I'm Burt Bacharach, this is the place.
