When "Break Fix Anniversary" came out fall 2001, I mentioned that it would be nice if one track, "My Birthday, The Moon Festival," got some wider distribution. The track was recorded in 1999 under the TELEGRAPH name and for a tribute project for THE CHURCH. It was originally a fan club only thing, but Mike Biggers, man behind the project, landed some label support for the Steve Kilbey solo cuts.

The "Electric Lash" EP is 5 Kilbey cuts plus 1 CHURCH tune from "Sceance." It's really top notch, not at all lame. There's a really cool version of "Shell" on here.

If you're interested in more about THE CHURCH, one of the coolest bands in the history of rock, there's a link for them on the LINKS page. They have 105 records out or something - a great band to get immersed in. Nothing I do really sounds like them, but they are the sole reason I learned to play the guitar.
