Hey! It's a soundtrack! To a movie! I have about 30 min. of tunes in the movie, mostly licensed stuff from my first solo album, alongside back catalog stuff from TRAVEL, THE DICTIONARY, and TEENAGE BLACKOUT. Guitarist Keith Fort makes an appearance. Director Paul Carr is a very talented playwright whose first film, BUSTED CITY, about election night of Chicago's first African-American mayor, Harold Washington, was terrific. I signed on to this film without reading a script or seeing a frame. I hear it's doing terrific business in Europe, but as an anti-Trump horror flick set post-election, that's to be expected. Step aside THE PURGE! Lots of noise and punk rock happenings ensue. Oh, and the soundtrack includes one previously unreleased TRAVEL song, "Erase It," which was from the BLANK SERMONS... sessions.
